Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar, who was known as the 'Tragedy King' on-screen, passed away early on Wednesday due to prolonged illness. He was undergoing treatment at the ICU facility of Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
Known for his outstanding acting prowess, the veteran actor has left a void. Several film industry personalities across the country, in their rich tributes, have said that Dilip Kumar had made an exemplary contribution to the world of Indian cinema.
Described as a "university of acting" by his admirers, the versatile actor was known for his impeccable dialogue delivery and histrionics.
Soon after his death was made public, Jr NTR took to Twitter and expressed his profound grief. "Dilip Kumar Saab's contribution to the growth of Indian cinema is priceless. Rest in Peace sir. You will be missed," the 'RRR' actor wrote.
