'Rakshasudu 2' will be made as a sequel to 'Rakshasudu', the 2019 crime thriller which had Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas in the lead. On Tuesday, director Ramesh Varma (who is currently doing Ravi Teja's 'Khiladi') and producer Koneru Satyanarayana announced the project.
Coming with the caption 'Hold Your Breath', it will go on the floors soon. For now, the makers have withheld the name of the lead man. But they said that the film will be headlined by a well-known actor.
"We are hereby unveiling a poster accompanying the announcement. A psychopath carries a dead body on his shoulder and holds a deadly weapon in one of his hands," the makers said, revealing the announcement poster.
A Studios and Havish Production have teamed up for the project. Music and cinematography are by Ghibran and Venkat C Dileep, respectively. With dialogues by Sagar (Devi Sri Prasad's brother) and Srikanth Vissa, the film has action directors Ram-Lakshman on board.
