Director and screenwriter Rajesh Touchriver refuted the allegations made by Malayalam actress Revathy Sampath. In the wake of sexual harassment allegations made by the actress, the director responds and defends himself.
Rajesh Touchriver wrote, "I write with reference to the media articles
This is a new piece about purported allegations against me
The lady in question has made unfounded and baseless allegations against me and has chosen the social media and no other legal platform since it is easy to malign and does not have to prove anything".
The director continued by writing, "I respect all the journals and the journalistic values you stand for. However, I am appalled that you are resorting to placing my picture and using my name in the articles which is defamatory".
Rajesh concludes, " I urge you to immediately withdraw the same and refrain from using these references in the future. I do not want to take any legal action against the media as I trust you would comply with the request the media here and do the needful".
