TV anchor Pradeep Machiraju recently happened to make some light-veined comments in a TV show regarding the capital of Andhra Pradesh. It was a quiz show kind of set up and the anchor allegedly hurt the sentiments of some sections of people in trying to make a point.
After his comments invited flak, the '30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela' actor took to his social media account and tendered an apology. "I was not mocking anybody. My intention was not to insult. If I have offended someone, my sincere apologies," he added.
Earlier this month, another TV personality drew flak and even a police complaint was lodged against him. Hyper Aadhi was accused of making fun of a Telangana tradition in a TV show. The comedian said sorry and added that people of all regions have accepted him as an entertainer.
