Speaking on the occasion, Mega producer Allu Aravind said, "Geetha Arts has celebrated its films such as 'Sarrainodu', 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' in Vizag. Coming to 'Chaavu Kaburu Challaga', the title is wholly justified by the story. Kartikeya has played the role of a lover who goes to a widow and requests her to marry him. The premise is strange and the story comes with a number of twists. Director Koushik Pegallapati has told the story in such a way that, by the time the climax arrives, the audience would start rooting for the lead pair."
The director said, "We have been receiving a great reception everywhere. This is an emotional moment for me. I had been visiting production houses for years to bag a chance. My first movie is going to release in three days. You will remember the lead man of the film and his character for sure. It's not easy to play Mallika. I congratulate Lavanya Tripathi for pulling it off so well.
Kartikeya Gummakonda said, "As Basthi Balaraju, my character represents today's youth. You have remembered 'RX 100' for all these years. You will also remember Basthi Balaraju. I am looking forward to the film's release. It was great working with producer Bunny Vasu garu."
