'Play Back', which released on March 5 this year, will stream on Aha from May 21. Dinesh Tej and Ananya Nagalla, who was recently seen in 'Vakeel Saab', are its main actors.
Starring late TNR in a negative role, the thriller is about a strange telephonic conversation between a crime reporter Karthik (from 2019) and a young girl Sujatha (from 1993).
The film received some acclaim when it released in theatres. "K Bujji’s slick cinematography and composer Kamran’s gripping score lend immense appeal," a statement from Aha says.
Directed by Hari Prasad Jakka, the film also features Arjun Kalyan and Spandana Palli.
