Samantha Akkineni's Prathyusha Support and Disha Foundation have reached out to the General Hospital in Mahabubnagar by supplying 10 oxygen concentrators. The star actress' team coordinated with Telangana Minister Srinivas Goud for the purpose.
The Minister personally handed over the concentrators to the hospital management. He said that it's a happy thing that donors and humanitarians are coming forward to help the system in the time of a severe crisis. "Philanthropy is saving lives in these times of the pandemic," he added.
Over the years, Samantha has taken care of several lives by sponsporing surgeries.
'The Family Man 2', her web series, will release on Prime on June 4. Its trailer was out yesterday. Samantha has played an LTTE terrorist in the thriller.
