Tamil artist Ponnambalam, who acted with Chiranjeevi in films such as 'Mugguru Monagallu' and 'Gharana Mogudu', has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Megastar. Recently, the 'Acharya' actor donated to him an amount of Rs 2 lakh towards a kidney transplant surgery that Ponnambalam underwent.
"I am grateful that Chiranjeevi annayya came up with the assistance. It was helpful in a pressing circumstance. I will always remember the donation. Jai Sriram," Ponnambalam said.
Last week, the 'Sye Raa' actor gave Rs 1 lakh to Pavala Syamala, who has been struggling to make ends meet. The veteran comedienne thanked the Megastar for the help. He gave Rs 1 lakh to the wife of late journalist TNR.
