'Rowdy Boys', which stars debutant Ashish and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles, will head to theatres on November 19. Producers Dil Raju and Sirish announced the date at a song-launch event on Wednesday.
"We wanted it to be a Dasara release. Due to other movies in the race, we postponed the release," Raju said.
At the event, which was graced by Vijay Deverakonda, director Harsha Konuganti sounded confident. Vijay, on his part, said that the 'Husharu' director knows how to portray college life and the thinking of college-going youths.
'Rowdy Boys' has music by Devi Sri Prasad. A song titled 'Preme Aakasamaithe' was released yesterday. Sung by Jaspreet Jasz, it has lyrics by Shreemani. Earlier, the title track sung by Roll Rida was released.
