Tainted to be a bold attempt by the makers, the movie Dahini is to highlight the topic of witch-hunting, which manifests as gender-based violence. Rajesh is to portray how the women become victims of witch-hunting in property disputes or other social causes in which gender equality is considered a bad thing, rather than progression.
Dahini features Ashique Hussain, Badrul Islam, Angana Roy, Riju Bajaj, Jagannath Seth, Sruthy Jayan, Dilip Das, and Dattatreya in lead roles. This bold movie is produced by Orion Pictures International Pvt. Ltd. and SunTouch Productions.
