The mortal remains of Puneeth Rajkumar have been kept at the Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru. On Saturday, several Telugu film celebs paid their last respects to the Sandalwood actor.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Srikanth went together and consoled Shiva Rajkumar and friends of the departed soul. The 'Acharya' actor was seen with Shiva Rajkumar.
Earlier, Jr NTR and Nandamuri Balakrishna paid their last respects. Both of them got emotional, with the latter's video surfacing on the Internet. The emotional farewell has once again proved that the Rajkumar family and the Nandamuris shared a strong bond.
The last rites will be held on Sunday. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai today said that Drithi Rajkumar, Puneeth's daughter, would be coming in late to Bengaluru from the US due to some issues. That's why the last rites have been postponed.
