The Hindi remake of 'Jersey', titled 'Jersey', will be released in theatres on 31 December 2021. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, it has Shahid Kapoor reprising Nani. On Monday, in a reply to a question about Nani, the Bollywood star said that the 'Tuck Jagadish' actor had him tear up while watching the Telugu original.
"I think Nani did an amazing job in jersey. He made me cry. So I would say he inspired me to do this film," Kapoor tweeted today
'Jersey', starring Mrunal Thakur as the heroine, also features Pankaj Kapur. With cinematography by Anil Mehta and editing by Navin Nooli, its music is by Sachet–Parampara.
