'KGF 2' has successfully joined the 5 billion-rupee club in terms of gross. Starring Yash and others, the Prashanth Neel directorial is being debated for a short-sighted mistake it has committed.
In one of the early scenes, Rocky (Yash) makes a statement against nepotism. Ironically, the film features two actors who may be described as nepo kids. Sanjay Dutt, who has played Adheera, is the son of actor-filmmaker, late Sunil Dutt. As for Raveena Tandon, who has played Ramika Sen, she is the daughter of Ravi Tandon, Bollywood's veteran filmmaker.
Driving home the irony, blogger Kartik Dayanand writes, "Beautiful tribute to Puneeth Rajkumar. Followed by Rocky's intro scene that disses nepotism. Also Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon - both products of nepotism.Looks like #KGFChapter2 team is confused."
One wonders what the two antagonists felt while watching the "Monster" rail against nepotism!
