It started in 2021 when a no-make-up look of Prabhas surfaced on the Internet. A Bollywood portal reported that trolls were insulting the 'Baahubali' actor by calling him an uncle and by likening his face to Vada Pav, a snack.
At that time, many fans of Prabhas got deeply offended and trolled the 'haters'. They also opined that Bollywood movie buffs were behind the body-shaming campaign because they were quite scared of Prabhas' line-up of movies. "Hindi stars are scared of the mania that Prabhas is going to create with films like 'Adipurush'," Prabhas' fans claimed via social media platforms.
But with 'Radhe Shyam' flopping badly in Hindi, the body-shaming is back in vogue. Hindi audiences are of the view that Prabhas is not at all glamorous in the film. They are once again using the 'Vada Pav' reference as an insult.
