Even Megastar Chiranjeevi doesn't hate number games, it would seem. Secretly or otherwise, he is proud when his films cross milestone collection figures.
In a recent interview, the legendary actor said that there was no Rs 100 Cr film in Telugu till his 150th film, 'Khaidi No. 150', was released in January 2017. "Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Ram Charan, and Tarak.. none of them had any one-billion rupee film at that time," Chiru told a website.
He also added that 'Sye Raa' made Rs 126 Cr. The 'Bholaa Shankar' actor is expecting another Rs 100 Cr film in the form of 'Acharya'.
Ram Charan had said after Rangasthalam's release that he won't talk about collections in the future. However, Chiranjeevi is, it seems, at times tempted to get boastful. One wonders why a legend like him has to talk about box office figures in the first place! Rs 100 Cr or Rs 50 Cr, Chiru will always rule the audience's hearts!
