"Dharmam antadu, Padhaghattam antadu, Neelambari snanam chesthunte chusthaadu." This is a tweet by a social media user who mocked the scene where Ram Charan's character secretly watches Pooja Hegde's character while the latter is taking her bath.
The scene is not vulgar by the standards of Telugu cinema. But it is definitely at odds with the spirit of Charan's character. Many are wondering if it was really written by Koratala Siva. Netizens are speculating that it must be Chiranjeevi's idea to infuse such a scene to spice up the mood. (Side note: There is a theory that Chiru's inputs have spoiled 'Acharya'. But this is a mere theory backed by zero evidence).
The special song 'Saana Kashtam' is another element that many are laughing at although Chiru's dance moves are superb in the song. "How can there be a liquor shop where a semi-clad woman dances in the presence of libidinous men in a pious temple town?" Netizens are asking.
Since removing 'Saana Kashtam' is not possible (it will be a heavy subtraction), Netizens are saying that the bath scene can be edited out so that 'Acharya' can regain some honour.
