The other day, Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Veera Simha Reddy' cemented its release date. The mass masala entertainer will head to theatres on January 12, 2023. One of these days, Chiranjeevi's 'Waltair Veerayya', too, will firm up its release date. Both films are much awaited, especially in B and C centres, for Sankranthi.
In the meanwhile, the Vizag Film Distributors Association has taken a step to ensure that the above two movies get the maximum release for Sankranthi. In other words, they want a minimal release for Thalapathy Vijay's 'Vaarasudu'.
The Association on Tuesday requested the exhibitors from Vizag to give preference to straight Telugu films during festivals like Sankranthi, Dasara and Diwali.
