'Mukhachitram', whose story, screenplay and dialogues are by Sandeep Raaj of 'Colour Photo' fame, stars Priya Vadlamani, Ayesha Khan, Vikas Vasishta and Chaitanya Rao in lead roles. Directed by newcomer Gangadhar, the thriller has Vishwak Sen in a pivotal role.
The film hits the cinemas on December 9.
At the film's pre-release event, the guests spoke highly of its content. Director Maruthi expressed hope that writer Sandeep Raaj will win a National Award for the film once again after 'Colour Photo'. He lauded the film's actors for playing roles that have got multiple dimensions.
Producer Bunny Vaas said that the final 20 minutes of the film are going to be stunning. "Vishwak Sen's performance during his 10 minutes in the drama is awesome," he said, adding that Kaala Bhairava's music is superb.
Director Sailesh Kolanu said that it has become hard to pull audiences to theatres these days. He opined that 'Mukhachitram' has got the potential to attract the audience.
Producer SKN said that the Telugu audience wonder why content films are not made in Telugu when they watch Tamil and Malayalam movies on OTT. He suggested that 'Mukhachitram' is the kind of film content lovers will embrace.
