'Jagame Maya' is set to stream on Disney Plus Hotstar from December 15. Starring Dhanya Balakrishna as a widow, Chaitanya Rao as a husband, and Teja Inampudi as a con man, the romantic thriller is directed by Sunil Puppala.
On Wednesday, the makers said that the film bases its story on an interesting idea. Dhanya said that its characters are not black or white but grey. She hoped that 'Jagame Maya' engages the audience.
Teja said that the film purports to say that Karma is inescapable. Music director Ajay Arasada lauded the lead performances. He added that the subject is meaty and let him belt out good music.
Director Sunil said that the producers were not too mindful of the budget since they loved the script.
On their part, producers Uday Kiran Kola and Vijay Sekhar said that the film is being released on Hotstar for everyone's comfort.
The thriller has got screenplay and additional dialogue written by Ajay Sharan Addala.
