Hindi TV actress Tunisha Sharma, aged 21, is no more. Known for outings such as 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul', she was today found dead on the sets of one of her shows on Saturday.
As per national media reports, the actress killed herself in her make-up room on the sets of a show.
News agency ANI quoted the police as saying that the youngster committed suicide by hanging herself. "She was taken to a hospital where she was declared brought dead," the report said.
Reacting to the news, yesteryear actress Nagma tweeted, "Wonder what drives people to Commit suicide sad news to hear. Pray her soul rests in peace." Himani, a Twitter user, opined that depression is real. "Actors should really consider counseling, especially those who have been acting since childhood like her. We need the step up against the toxic work environment/unreal beauty standards," the user wrote.
As a child artist, Tunisha was famously seen in many Bollywood movies. She acted alongside the likes of Katrina Kaif and Vidya Balan.
