'FIR', the dark action thriller (made in Tamil and dubbed in Telugu), will be released in theatres on February 11. A day after a romantic song titled 'Payanam' was released, its trailer has dropped today. Directed by Manu Anand, the film has Kollywood actor Vishnu Vishal as the protagonist. Produced by Abhishek Pictures, it is presented by actor Ravi Teja in Telugu.
The story revolves around an innocent Muslim youth and a terrorist named Abu Bakkar Abdulla. "Terrorism has become the systematic weapon of war that knows no religion, border or language and seldom has a face," the trailer says at the outset. A negative character is seen declaring that a Caliphate must be established by eliminating all infidels. We see the protagonist being shadowed for some reason. Shot in Chennai, Kochi, Coimbatore and Hyderabad, the thriller has Gautham Vasudev Menon in a pivotal role. Gautham Menon has a full-fledged role and he is looking confident in the trailer.
Also featuring Manjima Mohan, Raiza Wilson, Reba Monica John, its cinematography is by Arul Vincent. Art Direction is by Indulal Kaveed. Ashwath has composed the music. Lyrics are by Rakhendu Mouli.
