'Golmaal 2020' is an upcoming movie starring Mittakanti Ram and Vijay Shankar as the heroes. Akshata Sonawane, Mahi Malhotra, and Kisley Choudhary are its heroines. Vijay Shankar has an interesting role in the film. 'Surabhi 70MM' is directed by award-winning short filmmaker Gangadhara YK Advaitha. Starring Anil Kumar, Vinod Nagulapati, Akshata Srinivas, Chandu, Mahesh, Ushanjali, Sloka, Yogi Khatri, Anish Ram, and Surya Akonda, the film is a concept-based movie.
Both films will be released in theatres on February 18. Their pre-release event was held jointly on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, director John Jikki of 'Golmaal 2020' said, "More than the production works, release formalities are the harder part for small movies. Thanks to our producer's support, we have been able to reach this stage. Our film will give a new experience."
Actor Mittakanti Ram said, "It's through a journalist that I landed this project. Without the media's support, small films don't gain traction. New talents need all encouragement and support."
'Surabhi 70MM' director Gangadhara said, "I feel fortunate to have found a producer who believes in a strong story. This is a village-based drama that also entertains."
