Telugu-speaking girls are very few in the Telugu film industry. That's why when a Telugu 'ammayi' makes an entry in films, she elicits curiosity among many. One such budding artist is Akshita, who was recently seen in the rom-com 'Sehari' as the male lead's friend. 'Sehari' was headlined by newcomer Harsha Kanumilli.
For the unversed, the girl played a character named Subbalakshmi, who is a light-veined youngster brimming with enthusiasm. "I received a warm response for my acting in 'Sehari'. The youth could relate to the sensibilities of my role. My performance has been lauded by everyone," Akshita says.
While most female actors name the likes of late Sridevi or late Soundarya as their inspiration, Akshita is different. She picks the legendary comedian Brahmanandam. "I want to be versatile. I want to do only those roles that have importance in the story," she adds.
Akshita is on the lookout for interesting scripts and wants to explore her acting potential in the years to come.
