'Hero' was released in theatres on January 15. The success meet of the comedy entertainer was held in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, debutant actor Ashok Galla said, "I will never forget the audience's reception on the first day at Devi Theatre in Hyderabad. I thank the audience for watching and encouraging our movie. I thank my parents for making me an actor." The actor also thanked Jagapathi Babu, Brahmaji, Roll Rida, and others who have worked on the entertainer.
Producer Padmavathi Galla said, "The feedback has been great. Youths and family audiences are in love with our movie. The comedy and the thrilling elements are our film's stand-out features. Even though we couldn't promote the movie adequately for want of time, the audiences' response has been amazing."
Jagapathi Babu said, "This is the first movie I have watched in a theatre in the last 15 years. I enjoyed watching it on the silver screen. At first, I didn't want to do 'Hero' because I have been doing big-ticket movies fronted by superstars. But the producer convinced me to do the film. Jayadev Galla (the hero's father) is a favourite person. I did have my doubts about the director's ability. But he (Sriram Adittya) has proved me wrong."
Sriram Adittya said, "I am glad that my efforts have paid off. Mime Gopi's performance in the interval block has become a highlight. Naresh's acting is another highlight. Nidhhi Agerwal has delivered a natural performance. Brahmaji's performance in the climax is such a hoot." The director also praised the dedication shown by Jagapathi Babu.
Nidhhi Agerwal said, "I thank the team for the film. The producer delivered a quality product. I have watched the movie with my family members. They enjoyed it a lot."
Roll Rida and others also participated in the event.
