On Sunday, the pre-release event of an upcoming movie titled 'Hi Five' was held at a star hotel in Hyderabad. It is directed by Amma Rajasekhar, a choreographer, filmmaker and Bigg Boss season 4 contestant. Actor Nithiin was invited to grace the occasion as a chief guest. But the 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' actor didn't turn up.
After playing an audio-visual video revolving around Nithiin's songs, Amma Rajasekhar took out his ire on the 'Rang De' actor for not showing up. Rajasekhar said that Nithiin was very much at his house at the time of the event but didn't have the courtesy to honour his word. "He had promised me to show up for the event. I prepared this audio-visual video by slogging for many hours. I didn't even eat properly and watched all his movies to give the best AV. The fact is Nithiin doesn't know how to dance. I taught him dancing. Today, he has ignored his 'guru'," Rajasekhar said, trying to hold back tears.
Rajasekher further said, "Nithiin told me he was running a fever and therefore he wouldn't be able to make it. I requested him to give a video byte. He didn't do even that. He has insulted me. I am upset."
