Disney + Hotstar is all set to stream 'Parampara 2' from July 21. Starring Jagapathi Babu, Naveen Chandra, and Sarathkumar, the web series has Aakanksha Singh and Naina Ganguly in key roles. On Tuesday, its pre-release event was held in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, director Viswanath Arigela said that the second season features more drama and action than the first one. "Naveen Chandra as Gopi has nailed it. This web series had been in the planning for 2 years. I am glad its first season was successful and its second season is coming out. I got to work with the likes of Sarathkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Varma, Divi and Aakanksha Singh. Arka Media is set to deliver with 'Parampara 2' what it did with 'Baahubali 2'," the director added.
Actor Ravi Varma said, "I have played a nice character in the series. I and Naveen Chandra have always got to play nice roles."
Actress Divi said, "My character is going to be special in this series. You will realize its significance only towards the end of the series."
Actress Aakanksha Singh said, "I feel fortunate to have got to play Rachana in this series. I thank Arka Media for reposing faith in me despite the fact that I have not done many films in Telugu."
Actor Naveen Chandra said, "If the first season was like a veg thali, the second season is a non-veg meal. I request you guys to watch the first season if you haven't, before watching the second season."
