'Gandharwa' is an upcoming movie starring 'George Reddy' fame Sandeep Madhav as the male lead. Gayatri R Suresh and Akshatha are the heroines. Dialogue King Sai Kumar and Suresh are playing crucial roles.
The news is that the film is going to hit the cinemas on July 1. Speaking at an event on Sunday, the makers said that 'Gandharwa' has been made as a complete package.
Babu Mohan said that director Apsar has made a novel film. "This is like an experiment. The director has shown great command. The other day, he told me he could execute the project as he had desired," he added.
Sai Kumar said, "These days, patriotic movies are becoming commercial hits. They are laced with strong emotions. 'Major' is a recent example. The story of 'Gandharwa' takes place between 1971 and 2021. It touches upon a never-seen-before element on the Indian screen. This is a film that would definitely click if told in a way that the audience understand the point. Sandeep Madhav has pulled off the action sequences pretty well."
Sandeep Madhav said, "I have done commercial films before. 'Gandharwa' is a fictional story that keeps the audience guessing throughout. I have learned a lot watching the movies of Sai Kumar and Babu Mohan. Director Apsar's dialogues and strong writing will be highlights of this movie."
Suresh Kondeti said that he has heard many directors claim that their film deals with a never-seen-before point. "For the first time, I feel the director of 'Gandharwa' can make the claim legitimately. As for Sandeep, he has made a name for himself after 'Vangaveeti' and 'George Reddy'. He is a Rs 10-Cr hero. If there is a gap between his movies, it is only because he does only interesting stories," Kondeti added.
Director Apsar said, "We have closed all business deals. I thank my hero Sandeep and music director Shakeel, who is like the AR Rahman for small movies. I became confident after Sai Kumar came on board after listening to the script."
With music by Rap Rock Shakeel, the film has cinematography by Niranjan J Reddy.
