'Bicchagadu' actor Vijay Antony's first-ever outing with Kollywood director A Suseenthiran is titled 'Valli Mayil' in both Tamil and Telugu. Faria Abdullah of 'Jaathi Ratnalu' and 'Bangarraju' fame is playing the female lead.
The news is that the film has successfully completed its maiden schedule.
Stage drama is the backdrop of this period drama, which takes place in the 1980s. Producer Thai Saravanan of Nallusamy Pictures is mounting the film on a big scale. He is known in Kollywood for producing films of rich taste. In keeping with the backdrop of the movie, a realistic and authentic set reflecting the Dindigul of the 1980s has been erected at a huge cost. For this, the art department has worked meticulously.
The second schedule will be kicked off in New Delhi soon.
