'Jailer' is the title of Superstar Rajinikanth's 169th movie. To be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of 'Beast' fame, the film will be produced by Sun Pictures.
Anirudh Ravichander, who is basking in the 'Vikram' glory, is composing music. With cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan, the film has editing by Nirmal.
'Jailer' is the titular character played by the 'Annaatthe' actor. The action drama will feature Rajini in a larger-than-life role.
There are rumours that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing a crucial role but nothing has been confirmed. 'Gang Leader' and 'Doctor' actress Priyanka Mohna is also said to be doing the yet-to-be-shot film. There is also this buzz that Ramya Krishnan and 'Don' actor Sivakarthikeyan are part of the cast.
