'Shikaaru', starring Sai Dhansika, Abhinav Medisetty, Tej Kurapati, Dheeraj Aathreya, and Navakanth, is hitting the cinemas on July 1. Directed by Hari Kolagani, the film is produced by Sri Sailakshmi Creations.
The news is that its pre-release event was held in a grand manner in Hyderabad on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Sai Dhansika thanked the director and the producer for the opportunity. "The four male actors have done a really good job. The writer wrote the scenes in accordance with my body language. We have always been confident about the movie doing well. Besides content, there is so much comedy as well in 'Shikaaru'," she added.
Director Hari Kolagani said, "The encouraging response for pre-release videos has filled us with motivation. Sekhar Chandra's music and Bhaskarabhatla's lyrics are going to stand out."
Producer Babji thanked the team, especially the film's Line Producer who filled hope in him when he was depressed during the pandemic. "Sai Dhansika is the backbone of this movie. Her acting and her character drive the film forward. We all know about Ahalya from mythology. 'Shikaaru' reminds us of her story," he added.
Also featuring Kannada Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali, Gayatri Reddy of 'Bigil' fame, Chammak Chandra, Annapurnamma and Surekha Vani, the film has cinematography by Vasili Shyam Prasad.
