'Gummadikaya Dongalu' is not any film title or the name of a 'Jabardasth' skit. It's a description given by Anasuya Bharadwaj to refer to those toxic male social media users who disrespect women all the time. On Tuesday, while wishing women a Happy Fool's Day (read on to know why), the 'Khiladi' actress indicated that dishonorable men pretend to respect women only on one day in a year. And that's International Women's Day.
"Oh! Suddenly realized it's the day every troller and meme maker suddenly starts respecting women.. of course, it expires in 24 hours! So all you women out there! Happy fools day!! (sic)," Anasuya tweeted in her own style.
She then had a taunt for those who would be offended by her tweet. "Annnddd!! Thank me later!! You will see all those 'gummadikaya dongalu' commenting below my tweet!! Have a good one y’all!! (sic)," she wrote.
Anasuya was recently seen as Ravi Teja's co-conspirator in the movie 'Khiladi'.
