Chiranjeevi has refused to open his mouth on the new Government Order issued by the Jagamohan Reddy government specifying the maximum rates at which cinema tickets can be sold in Andhra Pradesh. A few sops extended by the government came with riders. There is a feeling that the AP government hasn't given the best conceivable deal despite Chiru's best attempts.
The 'Acharya' actor was today asked about it when he attended an event to felicitate the female workers at the Chiranjeevi Eye and Blood Bank in Hyderabad. When a scribe asked him about the GO, the 'Bholaa Shankar' actor played safe and almost tried to evade the question. He hinted that even an innocuous comment made by him might be made to appear controversial by the media.
Chiru said that he has welcomed the new GO via a Twitter message. He asked the reporter to go back to the tweet to know his stance.
The 'Godfather' actor has no go but to face the same questions repeatedly for the next few months. After all, he led Tollywood's delegation that met CM Jagan weeks ago.
