'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' will hit the cinemas on March 25. The film is in the news because Shreyas Media's distribution company Good Cinema Group (GCG) has acquired the release rights of the Jr NTR-Ram Charan-Rajamouli movie for an overseas market.
Going into the details, 'RRR' will be released by GCG in the entire African continent. "We are venturing into overseas distribution with the magnificent movie," GCG today said.
"Plans are afoot to release 'RRR', India's pride, in a significant way in Africa. The scale of the release will set a new standard as far as Africa is concerned. The film has a patriotic fervour owing to its backdrop of freedom struggle in the context of what Komaram Bheem and Alluri did. That's why Shreyas Media is releasing the film there to cater to the Indian diaspora," a source says.
A good number of premieres will be held in Africa on March 24 (besides other overseas markets, of course).
