Vijay Deverakonda hasn't had it easy. As someone who comes from a humble background, the actor is a fighter himself. On his birthday on May 9, soon after the 'Liger Hunt' theme song was out, the 'Arjun Reddy' actor put out a video in which he spoke of his days of struggle. The star hero also thanked his fans for their love.
"When you have to fight for your food from a very young age, you learn to hunt. I have had to fight for every bit of respect, security and my place in the world. I have had to fight for every ticket sold," Vijay began saying, giving a glimpse of his life in the past. His character in Puri Jagannadh's 'Liger' is that of a slumdog who becomes an MMA champion.
In the video, flanked by his father, the 'Geetha Govindam' actor added, "I have had to fight for each and every one of you for your love, your belief, and your support. I feel your love every day I feel it today specially. And to all those fighting for yourself and your families, never stop the hunt." He dedicated the 'Liger Hunt' song to such folks.
