Actor-director Samuthirakani, who was seen in today's release 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', has confirmed directing the Telugu remake of 'Vinodhya Sitham' (Tamil) with Pawan Kalyan in the lead. On Thursday, he told a YouTube channel that the project will be announced soon.
Power Star's fans are hating the news. They are saying that the Tamil original is not worthy of being remade in Telugu. "It is short-film content unsuitable for a superstar like Pawan," a fan wrote on Twitter.
Predictably, they are blaming Trivikram Srinivas and not Power Star himself. It's Trivikram who influences the 'Bheemla Nayak' actor's decisions a big deal. Both 'Vakeel Saab' and 'BN' were remakes that happened because of Trivikram.
Pawan is an actor with more than 25 years of experience. He is not naive to be misguided by Trivikram. If he is doing yet another remake, it goes to show that he is in a hurry to make money before the 2024 elections. The original scripts coming his way must be really bad. Hit or flop, good or bad, the blame for doing one more remake must be put on Pawan and not Trivikram.
