Actor Karthi's 25th film was launched on Tuesday. Titled 'Japan', the film will be helmed by Raju Murugan. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures (of the recent 'Oke Oka Jeevitham' fame), the untitled entertainer will go on the floors soon.
Anu Emmanuel, who was recently seen in Allu Sirish's 'Urvashivo Rakshasivo', is its heroine. Our own Sunil will be playing a key role. The buzz is that the director of the film loved him in Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa'. GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose the tunes.
Karthi is having a great time these days. 'Ponniyin Selvan' by Mani Ratnam is a big hit. His solo film 'Sardar' has grossed Rs 100 Cr worldwide.
