Last year, when 'Pushpa' hit the cinemas, not many saw Sunil's career taking wings in Tamil. That seems to be happening now. The actor is currently doing two notable films in Kollywood.
The first one is Karthi's 'Japan', which was launched earlier this week. The film stars Anu Emmanuel as the female lead. The other outing is 'Maaveeran', which is headlined by Sivakarthikeyan. After 'Don' and 'Doctor', this actor is really one of the biggest medium-range actors in Kollywood. He is also part of Vishal's 'Mark Antony'.
Sunil can hope to do versatile roles in Tamil, where he is not subjected to any image. It's also interesting that Sunil is bagging serious roles in Tamil when he is back to doing occasional comedy roles in Telugu.
