It is believed by many that the Covid-19 vaccination drives across the world saw a lot of lobbying and machinations on the part of pharma giants, especially those in the West. Someone wants to make a film on the politics of the same showing how India steered clear of controversies in 2020 and 2021.
Director Vivek Agnihotri of 'The Kashmir Files' and 'The Tashkent Files' fame today said that he is going to make a social thriller drama titled 'The Vaccine War', which is slated to hit the cinemas on August 15 next year. His wife Pallavi Joshi will be producing it. "Presenting ‘THE VACCINE WAR’ - an incredible true story of a war that you didn’t know India fought. And won with its science, courage and great Indian values," the filmmaker tweeted.
To be released in 11 languages at a time, the film's cast and crew details are yet to be made official.
