Akkineni Nagarjuna, who is currently hosting Bigg Boss Telugu 6, is up for a remake. After doing original movies such as 'The Ghost' and 'Manmadhudu 2', he is now opting for a remake probably for want of better stories.
A period action thriller titled 'Porinju Mariam Jose' (Malayalam) is going to be remade in Telugu. The 'Bangarraju' actor is kicked about the changes made by writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada to the orignal, reports suggest. The writer will be donning the hat of a director for the 2023 release.
Since Prasanna Kumar has previously been associated with a blockbuster like 'Nenu Local' as a writer, Nag is confident of his capabilities.
