A report put out by a Bollywood entertainment portal recently said that Akshay Kumar owns a private jet worth Rs 260 Cr. Actually, this could well be a piece of news about Amitabh Bachchan, who owns a chartered flight of the same value. The report stated that the 'Sooryavanshi' and 'Bell Bottom' actor charges whopping fees from producers and that's why he could afford a private jet.
The news has angered Akshay, who took to social media and called out the report. He said that it was a lie that he owns a private jet. "Liar, Liar…pants on fire! Heard this in childhood? Well, some people have clearly not grown up, and I’m just not in a mood to let them get away with it. Write baseless lies about me, and I’ll call it out. Here, a Pants on Fire (POF) gem for you," the Bollywood superstar tweeted.
On the work front, Akshay awaits the theatrical release of 'Ram Setu' on October 25. The film has Satya Dev of the recent 'GodFather' in a key role.
