After recently starring in 'Cobra' and Mani Ratnam's 'PS-I', Chiyaan Vikram will next year be seen in 'PS-II'. And then there is another pan-India project that the 'Aparichitudu' star is doing right now. Titled 'Thangalaan', the same is directed by Pa. Ranjith of 'Kabali' fame.

Studio Green's KE Gnanavel Raja and Pa. Ranjith's Neelam Productions today said that Kolar Gold Field is the backdrop in which the story unfolds. The gold fields have been popularized by the 'KGF' movies.
Pasupathy, Hari Krishnan, and Anbu Durai have undisclosed roles in the movie. A Kishore and GV Prakash Kumar have been onboarded to helm the cinematography and music departments, respectively.
Co-written by Tamizh Prabha, the film has got stunts by Stunner Sam.
