Pawan Kalyan on Monday, while defending himself over the charge that he is a 'package' politician, made his income details public.
The actor-politician said that, in the last eight years, he has earned Rs 100-120 Cr. It seems the figure he quoted is after paying income taxes and GST. Pawan suggested that the income was earned by doing 6 films.
If you look at it, the amount is not huge. A superstar like Pawan, who commands a terrific fan following, should have made much more. He paid income tax amounting to Rs 33.37 Cr.
Pawan said that he had to dissolve the Fixed Deposit accounts meant for the future well-being of his kids in order to finance the construction of his party office in Hyderabad.
