'Agent' has once again been postponed. The Akhil Akkineni-starrer is skipping 2022. It was earlier said to be eying a Diwali 2022 release but now, it is going to come out in theatres for Sankranthi 2023.
On Monday, the makers of the pan-India release said that the film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages for Sankranthi.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is a spy thriller. Sakshi Vaidya is its heroine, while Mammootty has a pivotal role.
In the Diwali poster, we see the 'Most Eligible Bachelor' actor holding an umbrella. The poster design is fashioned after Hollywood movies.
The film's teaser was released in July. With music by Hip Hop Tamizha, Agent's story is penned by Vakkantham Vamsi. The film has cinematography by Rasool Ellore and editing by Naveen Nooli.
