Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Saturday took to social media and revealed that she has been suffering from an autoimmune disorder. Myositis is its name. A medical portal says that Myositis is any condition causing inflammation in muscles. It has no cure and medical management is the only solution, health portals say.
The 'Majili' actress said that she was hoping to share the news after it had gone into remission. "But it is taking longer than I hoped. I am slowly realizing that we don't always have to put up a strong front," the star actress, whose 'Yashoda' will hit the cinemas on November 11, wrote.
She added that she has accepted her vulnerability. Her doctors are confident that she will bounce back after recovery. Sam said that she has been through both physical and emotional hurdles in her life. "Even when it feels like I can't handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes," Sam noted, ending her message on an optimistic note.
