Sudheer Babu's upcoming collaboration with Mohanakrishna Indraganti is titled 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali'. The rom-com is heading to theatres on September 16 and its trailer was released a while ago.
Krithi Shetty plays Dr Alekhya, a beautiful professional who is a bit moody. When she agrees to play the heroine in a movie directed by Sudheer Babu's character, the latter's happiness is sky-high. Slowly, things start falling apart as the hero comes to know that Alekhya's parents (played by Srikanth Iyengar and Kalyani Nataraj) are old-fashioned movie-hating elders. Alekhya is subjected to abuse by her father.
In the later stage of the story, something unanticipated befalls the male lead. It is now up to Alekhya to redeem him. There comes a point when she tells her father, "I care (for my dreams)."
The film has Vennela Kishore as the hero's sidekick. Srinivas Avasarala is playing a doctor. Rahul Ramakrishna has got a serious role. The music is by PG Vinda.
