Pooja Hegde has bagged two awards at the recently-concluded SIIMA-2022. She won the Best Actress award for her performance in 'Most Eligible Bachelor'. Besides, she also came to be christened SIIMA's Youth Icon.
On the occasion, an audio-visual video chronicling the actress' journey since 'Mukunda' in Telugu was played. Her popular songs such as 'Butta Bomma' from 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' and 'Halamathi' from 'Beast' (Tamil) were also played by the organizers to highlight the diversity of her filmography.
When she walked up to receive the award, the gorgeous diva was a picture of grace.
Taking to Twitter later, the 'Radhe Shyam' actress thanked director Bommarillu Baskar and Geetha Arts for seeing her in a nice role in 'MEB', the Akhil-starrrer. She added that it was a strong female role that had her learn pages of long stand-up monologues. "As for being a Youth Icon, I guess if you continue being your authentic self, it pays off eventually. Hope I continue to inspire and stay inspired through my work," she added.
