TV artist 'ETV' Prabhakar is in the news because his son Chandrahas is making an acting debut in films. On Friday, on the eve of Chandrahas' birthday, Prabhakar and his wife held an event to introduce their son to the world.
Speaking on the occasion, Prabhakar said that it has been 25 years since he entered the entertainment industry. "My son Chandrahas turns a year older this Saturday. He has chosen acting as his profession. I have had no involvement in his decision. As a father, it is my duty to encourage him. Although he has been showing interest in becoming an actor for many years, I dissuaded him from taking up the profession until he completes his studies. He underwent training in fights, dances and all. He has done a cover song of 'Natu Natu' so as to familiarize himself with people via YouTube," Prabhakar said.
Prabhakar added that his son has also bagged two films as a male lead. "I am happy about it. Producers Kiran Boyinapalli and Kiran Jakkamshetty are producing one of his movies. Krishna is its director and writer. My son is also doing a film produced by AVR Movie Wonders. Sampath V Rudra is directing the movie. My wife Malayaja has been supportive of Chandrahas' acting dreams."
Chandrahas said that he has been influenced by his father since his formative years. "It has been my dream to become a cine hero. I have pestered my father a lot in realizing the dream. I have seen the ups and downs in my father's career directly. He has won everyone's love with his behaviour. I am inspired by the likes of Ram Charan and Allu Arjun," the new actor added.
