Vijayendra Prasad has confirmed that he is working on a script that chronicles the atrocities of the Razakars during the Nizam role. The liberation of erstwhile Hyderabad soon after India's Independence is what the period film is going to dramatize.
Speaking to the news portal ThePrint, the 'Baahubali' and 'RRR' writer said that he is very much working on a script with the backdrop of the liberation of the erstwhile Hyderabad state.
Prasad is a Rajya Sabha member nominated by the President of India. It's most likely that the film is going to be described as a BJP-friendly one, considering that it is going to be released ahead of the Telangana Assembly elections. But Rajamouli's father doesn't see it as a political film.
The film, which will be announced later this year, will be a multi-lingual release.
