Here is a new bilingual in the town. 'Vimanam' is its title. After 'Vinodhaya Sitham' (Tamil), Samuthirakani is once again playing a central character in yet another film. The outing under production has him in the role of a single parent who is physically disabled and financially challenged. His son aspires to fly in a plane.
Zee Studios and Kiran Korrapati Creative Works today unveiled the first-ever promo of this father-son story written and directed by Siva Prasad Yanala. The film is apparently inspired by real-life experiences. The promo is hinged on a fervent conversation between the duo.
Mollywood's star heroine of the 2000s, Meera Jasmine, is on board. Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rahul Ramakrishna and Dhanraj are also doing the film, while Master Dhruvan is playing the son's character.
Samuthirakani is these days busy captaining the Telugu remake of 'Vinodhaya Sitham'. Starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej, the film is produced by People Media Factory.
