The success meet of 'Virupaksha' was held on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Sai Dharam Tej attributed the film's commercial performance to the audience. He spoke of the changing tastes of viewers, adding that the audience's greater expectations are like a challenge to the film industry.
"I sincerely urge one and all to watch our movie only in a theatre. 'Virupaksha' is a blockbuster success for the film industry. I thank the cast and crew. I thank the filmmakers who stood by me when I met with a road accident in 2021," the Mega hero said, thanking his three uncles (Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu). He also thanked director Marthi and others.
Director Maruthi revealed that Sai Tej used to avoid watching horror movies but enthusiastically took up a horror thriller like 'Virupaksha'. "I congratulate director Karthik Dandu for making someone who was so reluctant to take up the horror genre do the film," the 'Prati Roju Pandage' director said, adding that director Sukumar is making able disciples like Karthik Dandu.
Gopichand Malineni said, "I congratulate the team of 'Virupaksha'. Sai Tej is very dear to me. I am happy for him today. Tej's success feels like my success. Director Karthik Dandu specially mentioned costume designer Rajini. He also thanked Editor Naveen Nooli. "The Editor was given content to the tune of 3 hours. He painstakingly edited the movie without compromising on the emotional aspects. The running time at the end is 2 hours and 24 minutes. Ajaneesh didn't take much time to compose BGM. I also thank my extraordinary sound designers," he added.
Heroine Samyukta Menon said, "I attribute all the recognition that I am getting to my director's vision. Everyone was supportive during the making."
